Rather, they are learning activities that are done in groups, where you work independently or with other language learners. Self-Access Center employees who speak your target language provide support and moderate the meetings and events.

Content and Method Everything is allowed! You can speak in small or large groups, communicate in one or several languages – or simply listen. We, the staff of the Self-Access Center, will do our best to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has the opportunity to connect and interact. Questions, conversations, and quick consultations about language learning will also be possible.
Format Each participant brings their own glass, plate, cutlery, and something to eat or drink – ideally a specialty from their own country to share with others. We will meet in a green space on the Hönggerberg campus. Exact details will be shared shortly before the event with those who have registered. In case of bad weather, we will suggest a sheltered meeting point.
