Learning outcomesThe learning outcomes for this module vary, depending on the workshops that the participant chooses. |

Content and approachParticipants choose 4 workshops from the list of workshops below. Each workshop consists of four 45-minute lessons.Each workshop is assessed with a grade. Participants must complete 4 workshops within 2 semesters in order to qualify for 1 ECTS point. In order to complete the requirements of the module, participants have successfully completed the assessment of 4 workshops. Those being offered this semester include:

Assessment, ECTS points, and workload1 ECTS point is awarded for successful completion of the assessment in 4 workshops over a maximum of 2 semesters. Participants can complete all 4 of their chosen workshops in 1 semester if they wish.Each workshop includes a short assessment and a grade. The assessment is consistent with the learning goals of the workshop and thus varies. The final grade is an average of the grades received for 4 workshops. |

Additional informationOnce you have signed up for “Course builder” and received a confirmation email from us, you will be sent additional information about the individual workshops, including information about signing up, the content, preparation tasks you need to do before the workshop, and the final assessment. You will be able to register for your chosen workshops until exactly one week before the workshop starts. You may also change your registration up to one week before the workshop takes place, after which time your attendance is expected.You may not sign up for or attend more than 4 workshops and students cannot gain credits for the same workshop twice, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Your lecturers will log your result for each workshop, and your final grade will be an average of the 4 grades you receive. When you have successfully completed the assessment for 4 workshops, you will be issued a certificate. The Language Center can offer 2 types of certificates: for a Certificate of achievement (Leistungsnachweis) and 1 ECTS, you must complete all 4 workshop assessments; for a Certificate of attendance (Teilnahmebestätigung) and no ECTS, you must attend 4 workshops. |
