The Language Center – A joint institution of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich
The Language Center of UZH and ETH Zurich has been offering a wide range of language courses since 2002.
The University of Zurich and ETH Zurich recognize the growing importance of language skills to academic study, research, and academic and other professional fields.
The Language Center of UZH and ETH Zurich is a provider of language services to the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. The Center offers academic-level foreign language courses and functions as the point of contact for the two institutes with regard to issues relating to the acquisition of foreign, academic, and specialist language.

Within the University of Zurich, the Language Center is attached to the Office of the Vice President for Arts and Social Sciences.
Our target groups
Our target groups are undergraduate students working towards Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees; exchange students; Swiss federal government scholarship holders, PhD students, researchers, and academic and administrative staff of the University of Zurich and the ETH Zurich.
