Scientific writing
The Academic Communication Center is the main provider of hands-on support in scientific writing at the UZH and ETH Zurich. This includes the Writing Center for English and German, as well as a wide range of courses and workshops in several languages, offered both at the Language Center and within specific departments and programs. Our courses and consultations provide students and researchers with not just the theoretical foundations but also the concrete feedback and the practice they need to improve their texts, find their academic voice, and communicate more effectively with their readers.
Whether you are a student working on your first seminar paper, a Master’s student finishing a thesis, or a researcher submitting an article for publication, our goal is to help you become a more confident, efficient, and effective communicator.
